Run ยท Managed IT

Your IT department, without hiring one

We look after the technology your organisation runs on: laptops and accounts, the office network, email, backups and security, plus the planning that stops small problems becoming big ones. One monthly fee, one team to call.

The problem we solve

IT that someone actually owns

In many growing organisations, IT belongs to whoever is most patient with computers. Passwords are shared, backups are hopeful, and new starters wait days for a working laptop.

Managed IT hands that responsibility to a team whose job it is. We keep a full picture of your devices, accounts and systems, fix issues quickly, and plan improvements with you.

What you get

Everything an IT department does

A help desk for your staff

One place for staff to ask for help by email, phone or WhatsApp, with every request logged and followed through.

Devices looked after

Laptops, desktops and phones set up to a standard, kept patched and protected, with a record of who has what.

Accounts and access

New starters ready on day one, leavers locked out on their last day, and multi-factor sign-in for everyone.

Networks and Wi-Fi

Office networks, Wi-Fi, firewalls and internet links designed, documented and monitored, with a backup connection where it matters.

Backups that are tested

Business data and email backed up automatically, with regular test restores, so you know recovery works.

Planning and advice

A technology roadmap, budget guidance and regular reviews, so IT decisions are made ahead of time, not in a panic.

A predictable monthly fee

Know what IT will cost before the month starts

Managed IT is priced per user or per device and agreed in advance, so you can budget with confidence. Projects such as an office move or a new system are quoted separately.

  • Agreed service levels for response times, written into your agreement
  • Regular reports on requests, device health, backups and security
  • Documentation you own: network diagrams, accounts, licences and suppliers
  • No lock-in: a clear handover if you ever move to another provider

How it works

How we take over your IT

Onboarding is planned and calm, so nothing breaks while we learn your environment.

  1. Assess

We review your devices, accounts, network, software and suppliers, and list the risks and quick wins.

  2. Stabilise

Urgent issues come first: backups, multi-factor sign-in, unsupported devices and shared passwords.

  3. Standardise

Devices and accounts are brought to a common standard, documented and enrolled in monitoring.

  4. Run and improve

Day-to-day support, regular reports and a review of what to improve next.

Scope

What a managed IT agreement usually covers

The exact scope is written into your service agreement. On-site visits, hardware and third-party licences are listed separately, so you always see what you are paying for.

  • Help desk for staff requests
  • Device setup, patching and protection
  • Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration
  • Starter and leaver processes
  • Network and Wi-Fi management
  • Backup monitoring and test restores
  • Supplier and licence management
  • Regular technology reviews

Is this right for you?

Who this service is for

A good fit if

  • You are a small or mid-sized organisation without a full IT team
  • You have an IT person who needs specialist back-up and cover (co-managed IT)
  • You want IT costs to be predictable

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between managed IT and IT support?

IT support fixes problems when people ask. Managed IT takes responsibility for your whole environment: it prevents problems through monitoring, patching, backups and planning, as well as fixing them.

Do you work with organisations that already have an IT person?

Yes. Co-managed IT gives your IT staff a team behind them for specialist work, cover during leave and help with projects, while they stay the familiar face for your staff.

Can you support staff in more than one location?

Yes. Most support is delivered remotely, which works wherever your staff are. On-site visits are arranged as part of your agreement where a job needs them.

How quickly will you respond?

Response times are set in your service agreement and depend on how urgent the issue is. A whole office offline is treated very differently from a request for new software, and both are logged and tracked.

How do you handle our passwords and data?

Access goes to named engineers only, protected by multi-factor sign-in, and is recorded. Credentials are kept in a secure password manager, never in spreadsheets or chat.
